Our Story

 

Hey I’m Sion, current owner of Salt.

I live on the Central Coast with my wife Andrea. We are neighbours, turned best friends and eventually… husband and wife! We work from home running our first business, Lending Hands Mortgage Brokers (https://www.lendinghands.com.au/).

One day, Andrea and I reached out to our good friends and original owners of Salt, Larissa and Jez for advise. We wanted to create shirts for Lending Hands but didn’t know where to start! Well… turns out they’ve just decided to sell Salt to pursue their next venture but haven’t told anyone yet. 

Since we’ve been admiring their work of capturing the hope of the Christian faith in a cool surfy style, it made perfect sense to talk business!

And so our dream partnership between Lending Hands and Salt was born 😊

our prayer

We love the quote from CS Lewis and I think it captures what we want Salt to play a part in:

"Don't shine so that others can see you. Shine so that through you, others can see HIM." - C. S. Lewis 

We pray that our shirts would help Christians all around the world to be more confident and joyful in the hope that they have been called into.

We pray that it would help Christians be the light of the world . That our shirts would spark curiosity for those who don’t know Jesus and lead to good gospel conversations!
